It’s terribly sad, but Dan (and his family and friends) can deal with his own shit.

A man makes his choices. Dan chose to use questionable junk in a sketchy country. It was a tremendously wrong choice.

I wish him the best, of course, but he won’t get a cent from me.

If he survives, this experience will hopefully bring him some wisdom to consider the possible consequences of his actions.
