For some people like me, it got me out of the ghetto. Selling Avon and Amway taught me a lot about business and all the mentoring I got from Bill Britt was awesome. I mean now I'm working a 70k a year job and no longer living check to check like my old running buddies.
You get what you make out of life . Of course I'm now working with my former arch nemesis from Getbig, Judi. Hell really froze over
good for you - glad you made success with it. generally speaking MLM = false hope and they prey on the weak - similar the vice story about the clothing.
imho if you are from ghetto and want out - go work at a car dealership as a sales rep. the fastest way out of the ghetto is becoming a car salesman. i put myself through business school selling cars (Honda and later Infiniti) and many of the top sales reps came from the ghetto. car dealerships will hire about anyone as long as you are not a criminal
it was a hustle which many from the ghetto love, doing car deals, driving cool cars, having business card (big deal for many) it was 2005 so they had a reason to own a nice cell phone, good sized legit checks, a reason to wear a nice shirt and or necktie
I loved selling cars when i was younger.
