It's not as if Johnnie turned into a twig, during his two years off. He was slightly smaller with a bit more bodyfat, which is to be expected. But, he was still HUGE.

Apparently, they do.....or at least, Jackson does. I've never heard of him pulling or tearing anything throughout his career.

Here’s the thing that’s interesting, I’ve seen him train in the past by himself, and his form is a lot better. When he trains with branch or being filmed, he starts swinging and throwing weights with very bad form, the kind we are all seeing in his vids

Guys tend to ham it up a bit more, on camera and with their friends. Plus, Johnnie still dabbles in powerlifting. So, it would make sense that a comeback for him wouldn't be all that difficult.

With guys like Branch it’s not the “heavy” part as much as the shit “form”.

They are almost like a cult...evidenced by the fact that they wear their injuries/surgeries on their sleeve as they do, and they also act as if they are part of some elite club, where the criteria to enter is working out to the point that you destroy your body.

And while it is true that they have produced a lot of world record holders...I can't help but thinking how silly it is to be proud that you beat yourself up to that extent.

It's not just them but powerlifters in general.  Jaime Lewis is always bragging about his injuries and we know about Ronnie.
