Warlord wasn’t as big as Lesnar
MUCH bigger. And ...
I watched Warlord bench 455 for six paused reps like it was 135. Then I spotted him incline 365 for probably eight or 10. Easy.
(He began that maintenance workout repping 315 in the squat for what must have been 25 repetitions. He was wrestling that evening at Maple Leaf Gardens, so there was zero intensity being expended.)
Now, the video? I’ve gone back and forth, but, yeah, it’s almost certainly a work.
On a personal level, Warlord, while possibly being the most fearsome-looking fella I’ve ever seen, was incredibly polite, friendly and helpful (he was spotting my sets, too). He was offering lots of encouragement and compliments.
