Didn't you believe COVID was real?

I have 99% Marvel comics from the Silver and Bronze ages..............60`s and 70`s............early to mid 80`s.

Every issue of the Avengers from # 1 to the mid 300`s.................some are reprints as I could never afford to buy some of the very early issues.............they go for HUGE money and I mean HUGE.

Have tons of old X-Men,Thor,Fantastic Four etc. etc.................all worth pretty big bucks.
If they are in mint condition then you can make a shitload of cash!  I had all of those you mentioned from the late 70's through mid 80's but never kept them in good condition and later threw them away.

see this is waht I dont get Why wouldnt you sell them and absolutely blow the money? What good are they to you dead?
I never hold. I may drop dead tomorrow and I dont want a single cent or asset left over--granted Im really good at not having money or assets  :D
I just cant part with them.

I sold off 2 collections on different occasions many years ago only to amass them once again..........you never get what they are worth.

If I got sick again and wasn`t gonna make it,I`d sell them and give the money to my wife.

I must have ten boxes of comics, in storage. I got my first comic in May of 1990, at a friend's birthday.

Nothing in the 1990's would be worth anything though, would it? I'm assuming they are only worth the boards and bags they are stored in.

Oddly enough, Richie Rich comics digests went up in the past decade - because no one was collecting them.

So now that Trump is out of office, everyone has forgotten about COVID, despite it still being peak flu season in the Western hemisphere?

That makes sense. COVID wasn't a giant psy-op to get Trump out of office and replace him with a dementia candidate or anything.

And now Facebook is inviting me back, despite pledging my allegiance to Adolf Hitler in numerous posts? HAHAHAHA, how desperate will Big Tech get to get people back?

Dear Facebook: "It's not you, it's me. Thank you for conveniently banning me through the whole hyped pandemic though."
There are some comics that are considered "KEY"  issues so some may be worth a bit depending on condition............... ..condition is everything.

No such thing as a MINT comic in the comic book world.......even if it`s right off the press.

Mine are in various stages of condition..........some great, some downright shabby cuz I`m a poor bastard LOL  ;D

At least the most expensive card ever sold is a classic that has sold for huge amounts for decades.  I couldn't believe when the Giannis rookie and Mike Trout rookie sold for millions!

The only even remotely valuable cards I have are a Griffey Rookie and a Shaq beam team rookie. Having the Griffey rookie made me a god as a kid! As it's Beckett value was the highest of any modern card at the time.

I haven't collected cards for decades, but I was a huge video game collector until recently.  The same madness that exists in the card game has infected sealed video games as well.  A sealed left bros (first print of Super Mario Bros 3) just sold for 150,000, and there are at *least* 5 other copies that I know of in other collectors hands.  One of them being a higher grade than the one that sold.  I personally own a opened but complete copy and didn't even think it was valuable at all until I saw that auction.

Interesting. I suspect the ones we were told to collect are not worth much - such as "The Death of Superman".

I was removing some carpet from an old home and they had some old floor boards and underneath some baseball cards.  Found a Mike Schmidt rookie card.  Just googled it and it's $1200.  Shit.  Just a few years ago it was like $50.

I have an ARod rookie, a Gretzky card that has Luc Robataille stats on the back.  It was some error print.  I have a few. I have a Ken Griffey rookie, a Big Pappi rookie and a bunch more. I need to look through my collection.  Shitty part is its in a storage locker burried under a shitload of stuff.
