I pray you would give the drs and medical staff wisdom and knowledge regarding diagnosing her

Im no Doctor, but I'm assuming the liver cirrhosis and failing kidneys have a lot to do with it. The Doc said they were treating her for high ammonia levels in her blood. Probably because her organs aren't filtering her waste properly.

I looked it up and you are absolutely right. Either of those conditions can cause sepsis which requires immediate treatment. Like I said, it is good that you got her to the hospital so fast. Are they treating her with intravenous antibiotics?

Wow! Just got the call for the family to say their final goodbyes. Just goes to show you how strong she was. Lasted until literally the last few hours of her life.

This is surreal. Just a hazy fog.

Prayers.  Please don't drink. It will seem like it will help but in the end it will magnify the pain.  Always know you mother wants the best for you. Shed tears for now and I hope in time her memory will make you smile. May God hold her in the palm of his hand till you meet again.

She's gone. I guess I'm still in shock.

Had a bunch of family that was able to make it before she passed. Saddest part was watching my grandmother kiss her daughter on her forehead before she died.

You have my sincere condolences. At least she didn't suffer for long. If this was as unexpected as it appears to have been, it is no wonder you are in shock. Take all the time you need to grieve her loss. It will get easier for you to accept given time.

Sorry to hear it.

61 is way too young.


My mother died in my arms while i was trying to save her life with CPR.

She died one day before her birthday.

She was going to be 65.

Sorry to hear she passed, stay off the drink I know it feel it helps at the time but it only delays the time it takes to learn to deal with it and get on with life.

Won’t lie it never ever truly gets better you just learn to deal with it, probably will always be a hole in your life and will change you but you can be happy again just things are just never the same as a few on this board have mentioned over the years (kwon, army ect), not saying this to be cunt just to give a realistic expectation of how things will be, it’s over 5 years since my dad died and I still miss him and think of him multiple times every day and could easily cry at his memories if I let myself

Unbelievable. The doctor called this morning and said that even though they unhooked her from everything, she is still fighting. They said that if she continues to stay alive, they will move her to a hospice. They said she isn't going to suffer, but man, when is this nightmare going to end?

She's a fighter though. They estimated that she would only last about 10 minutes minutes after they unhooked her. Its now going into the next day.
