They probably would like him to last 2 years because then Kamala could serve the last 2 years AND get 2 terms herself. I don't think he's going to make it.
Biden is probably the perfect President to have after Trump to calm everybody down. He is so frail and weak it is hard to attack him or even see him as dangerous. A more polarizing politician who was young and aggressive could set off a civil war. He is almost a sympathy figure.

Just watching him stumble over his words, forgetting things over and over again, leaving his mask behind and walking like he does, shows how feeble he really is. He doesn't even look like he's there mentally half the time.
He's definitely just a full blown puppet at this point. Has no control over anything, just along for the ride.
