I don't think it ca be.  There aren't as many drunks on the road today as in decades past because of strict punishments for breaking the law and the fact that bars and nightclubs are ghost towns now.  I don't know if any studies have been done on drivers driving stoned but I'm sure it's a lot who make up for the lack of drunks.  The drunk alcoholics of the 70's and 80's are the meth heads, heroin addicts and stoners of today.

I dunno, we had plenty of drunks WITH countless stoners and acid droppers on my college campus  back in the 70's.
I don't "think" stoners are as dangerous driving as drunks, but I could be wrong.

Most of the down turn in bar biz is due to covid during the past 18 months.

How many drunk drivers get pulled over within 10 miles of a stadium within 2 hrs after a game ends?

Bars and nightclubs were in decline before Covid partly because of the strict drunk driving laws.  The NFL stops selling drinks in the 3rd quarter of games after a NY Giants fan ran over some people drunk after the game.  Of course, if you are really drunk in the 3rd quarter you won't be sobered up by the end of the game.

I have never heard of a study testing stoned drivers but I'm sure it is as bad as driving drunk.  Heroin even more so.
