Snatch grip high pulls - 3x5

1A) Neutral grip pull ups - 4 x 10
1B) Trap bar DL -  4 x 5

3A) Kneeling Landmine Press -  4 x 6

Yeah I am icing my elbow tendonitis right now. Any ideas on what is causing the flare up and how to heal it? I had a cortisone shot but it has worn off. Was gone but is back again I feel like simple one arm cable pressdowns a few days ago caused it to flare back up then did some bench presses this am and now its bad. But I cant just keep taking time off as it doesnt seem to heal anyway

Dunno if it’ll help you but when I had elbow tendinitis the PT attributed it to a muscle imbalance - specifically that my gripping muscles overpowered my finger extensors.  I would slip a rubber band over my finger tips and open my hands wide against the resistance to treat it.  Cleared up pretty quick, a week or two

Can't be sure wthout seeing your form but likely it was the pressdowns that caused it.

If you allow the elbow joint angle to greatly exceed 90 degrees of flexion (angle between upper arm and forearm less than 90 degrees actually) it can irritate the joint, causing tendonitis. 

See below.  This amount of flexion can cause problems.

Classic....just classic.  The type of person who want's to complain about a problem but won't do what it takes to fix the problem.  How many times have you been told to rest it and get some rehab on it?  You healed yourself so you could walk on water like jesus but you can't fix your elbows?

You might think I've lost my mind, but accupuncture worked for me - not that spiritual incense burning bullshit version, but a proper physio nailing the specific nerve (not a Qi line or a Shakra!) that ran down my forearm

I got the sessions for free through my job, and to be honest I walked in there thinking it was a crock, but when he took the needles out I was absolutely amazed - the pain had completely gone, and that lasted most of the week

Of course, I had to go weekly to keep the benefit going, but during that time I eliminated the activity that caused the flare-up

You could do worse than give that a go - honestly

Tough !   It gets faster really quick if you most faster.   I try to engage all the energy systems , muscles , etc on a weekly basis.   

I was real sore in my shoulders and upper back from Friday so decided on a hard ass guy check type workout like this.    Tough bro.   More mental for me than physical.  It’s a long time and have to stay focused and dedicated to not quitting.   I like training to the clock so I can dial in , focus mentally , and stay in the fight

Here`s a tip for sore elbows Mr. Guy That`s Been "LIFTING" Forever.....start every pressing day ie chest + delts... and every triceps day with three light sets of fifty pressdowns....nothing taxing,just warm em up and get blood into the area.....may want to use the pink dumbells aslo as going lighter for a while will definitely help.

Sounds like the best/most intensive cardio a person could do.  Probably have to do half the time that your would on a stairmill which is now the second most intense piece of cardio eqpmnt. IMO.

Unfortunately, I belong to like 15 gyms (all location pass for one I pay, and same for Planet Fitness which I only use for massage beds for my fibromyalgia and have passes to others through my advantage plan insurance.  I have never seen one of these anywhere....and were talking PF, Gold's, Genesis, LifeTime, and other high end gyms.  Very cool!  Would much rather suffer for ten minutes on that than do 20-30 on the fucking stepper.
