I have a Westside Rogue one.  Simmons suggests going under the machine for the decompression part.  I have found this very difficult, and uncomfortable on my abdomen.  It does really hit the ass and low back in a good way, so I'm to continue to try to figure it out.

Thanks brother.  This has been a life long journey and labor of love.  I've done things that worked, things that failed, etc.  we all have different body types, genetics, histories, etc.  I do what works for me personally.   Maybe it works for someone else, maybe it doesnt.   You only know if you try.   

I've been fat strong, I've been lean ripped and weak (look great but feel like shit), all and everything in between.   I am trying to keep the sweet spot in between for performance mainly.  Not too big and jacked and strong while stamina and endurance sucks.   And in that same sentiment, not just weak and ripped while looking good but nothing else.   Thats my goal.  Not the goal of everyone, but thats my goal.  To each their own I guess.     

I have no desire to be contest shape anymore...I love my training.  I have not ever been bored with it like I got with bodybuilding.

You aren't pulling 400lbs on deadlifts....unless you call your 225x2 a 450lb deadlift

You aren't pulling 400lbs on deadlifts....unless you call your 225x2 a 450lb deadlift

I am stiffleg deadlifting 225 for 8 reps with 5 sets meanwhile he is doing 225 for 8 reps on regular deadlifts before dropping the reps and going up on his remaining sets so yeah its absolutely comparable. Same thing with his squat workout I am getting just as many reps with 225 as him I just do it for more sets while he goes up in weight and brings down the reps

I dont go for reps, 225 x 8 is easy, I stop at 8 for the progression program im running. (Like a Wendler 5/3/1 type of thing).

You guys are as bad as personal trainers beating the shit out of their clients then wondering why they never come back you don't need to do 50 exercises a workout. You can change up your volume and rep range vs taking a day off you dont always have to fry your CNS. Consistency is what does the job. You have no idea how heavy I went you take no consideration to how many days in a row I have trained or what might be sore. Making it to the gym and doing something is enough some days. You have to take it easy sometimes to grow. If I do an 1:30 workout I will not grow. I have to take days off just to eat. I lose weight if I train too many days in a row. Putting your focus into doing fewer exercises for more reps and sets allows you to really have the mind muscle connection. When I switch exercises every other set I do not getting the same kind of flex and feel in the muscle. And again I change my workouts all the time. You guys literally list wrist curls and ab crunches like that is part of a legitimate workout. Then claim you are doing more and I don't train hard bullshit. I know what I am doing. Meanwhile half you fuckers didn't even go to the gym today. I did leg extension yesterday and stiff leg deads today I don't have to do them all the same day. I do everythign once a week I am still getting tons of training but on a sore day I do something vs nothing but if you actually look at the reps and sets it is decent volume just not 3 different exercises that all do the same thing
