Zelensky is criticized for being delusional and divorced from reality. But what else can he say except Ukraine will not accept any deal made without them. It's been said the "Nazi's" (the Right Sector or the Bandera admirers or whatever they can be called, which Ukraine supporters say are a fiction but which many others say are an influential part of government; the ones sitting on all the weapons) have openly threatened they will kill him if he makes any concessions to Russia about giving up territory or about giving up. Lots of analysts are predicting he will end up dead soon... or alternatively he will flee. They claim there is information he has been given a 10 mil monthly salary by the US, essentially US taxpayer money. They say 100 billion US money has gone missing which Zelensky admitted they can't account for and a delegation was sent to investigate. There are even claims Ukraine has sold donated weapons to cartels in Mexico! My read is that someone like Zelensky as a single entity probably can't change the known corruption going on and has had to accept it. In my opinion all leaders are psychopaths, they have to make daily decisions about who is going to die or live. Trump is also a stone cold killer; most regular folks would not be up to doing that. Not only do they have to make decisions about events that are going to lead to casualties including collatetal fatalities, they have to make decisions about individual people, who is going to die, who is going to be tortured and so on. I couldn't and wouldn't want to do it. At the same time these people are considered for Nobel peace prizes; now some say if Trump plays his cards right wrt Ukraine and the Middle East he could be up for a deserved Nobel whereas many people condider him evil, just like many people feel about all leaders.
Myself being ethically a Finn, it seems I should hate all things Russia, it should have come with my mother's milk, so to speak. My grandmother's first husband was killed by Russia in the winter war. I neither love or hate Russia and am not an apologist for Russia, but from what I've seen and heard they were provoked to attack and the result of Ukraine's and the result of NATO encroachment was very predictable, the US did not take kindly to Russian missiles in Cuba either and would not accept if Russia armed Mexico or another south American country as a sort of bulwark against the USA. Did the "West" really care about Ukraine and Ukrainians or was the NATO expansion and now the support for Ukraine about taking down Russia and damn the consequences for ordinary Ukrainians?
I don't really have hard opinions about this whole mess but I'm watching Ukraine and ME analysis on YT all day long, and I tend to bend a certain way at this time; the NATO skeptic and anti-forever ME wars for jews side
