I dont need a daily reminder of being in the military which again was the biggest mistake i ever made and i wish i could do things over again.  I'd rather have piece of mind and to be honest, i have no need for a loan because i have no debt

I was referring to your home purchase. You have that paid off already?  Congratulations

Spent 4 years in ROTC when i could have stuck to playing the trumpet and getting a band scholarship.  I was pretty good at it....black people are always good at music, you know that.   There's nothing of value to be in terms of military service other than training to do security work and working in corrections.

That is incorrect. This may have been your experience but many have gotten benefits of military service. Just the other day I was at the Bass Pro shop and the gentleman showing me around the gun case was ex military.

How did your military service help you in security and corrections? Did you have any advantage over other non-veterans?

You're taught hand to hand combat so you can handle yourself in a situation although more training is course needed.  Also, you're more comfortable handing rifles and pistols

For the record, i never said i was a veteran , i said i served in the military.  But you need to be very mindful about what makes someone a veteran as its subjective .some say one competing one term, some say doing all 23 years and retiring, some say that you're not a veteran unless you've been in combat.

Even Wiggs himself knows that some people dont consider him being in the Air Force because he never flew a plane or not a veteran because he didnt do 23 years.  I dont know if he was in combat but then if he wasnt, some people will ding him for that too.

The definition of military veteran is someone who is no longer serving in the military....thats what the Army classifies me as and i have access to military loans, USAA , etc....all of which i dont use because i dont care.   The only thing i am doing is taking up free space in your head. 🤣

VA loans are ONLY for veterans - you would NOT qualify for a VA home loan. That is my area of expertise and have done 100’s. You also do not have access and use of VA benefits - these are for VETERANS - which you admit as not having and I assure you that you DD-214 shows this coding. The DD-214 is simply the DOD form for ANY and all separation for the armed forces. Your permamnent record will show this.

I’ll get it - I will NEVER post it or ANY details. But will just confirm if I’m right or not… wanna bet accounts now fat boy?

If you didn't graduate basic you did not serve in the godamn military. You didnt graduate basic that is step one prior to service. You absolutely do not qualify for government military loans and educational benefits. High school Rotc is not military service

But i do qualify for loans, use of VA hospitals, etc....all of which i dont use anyway.  You simply dont understand that not all discharges are made equal and unless you know my situation, i would suggest not speculating

Fact is that you challenged me to put up a DD214 and i did despite you being a chicken for not putting your account on the line...now you want to argue over specifics of my service as to what qualifies for service.

The United States Army designates me as having served in the military and being a veteran and there is nothing you or anyone else can do or say otherwise.  The idea that you care about something that i dont give a shit about is peculiar but maybe you should quit accusing me of stealing valor that i never claimed or have used any of the military programs that im fully entitled to use if i want.

If you wanna play soldier or war commander, fine.  I have better things to do than to argue about my 10% discount at Lowes

This will be the final response in this thread as its pointless as you are agruing with somethingi really dont give a shit about...you can muddle around with the rest of your butt buddies and play soggy cracker

I guess the question I have for you is whether you would be willing to tell this story once more for us here on GetBig?

In other words, since this section is named Gossip & Opinions, what better way to exemplify this than by speaking of something so taboo that it would send ripples down the industry's spine? Given that it's your story to tell, would you feel comfortable in creating a new thread titled "Terror Down Under: Schwarzenegger in Foul Bay" where you retell this story and share with the world and bodybuilding community what transpired on that tragic day where you claimed Schwarzenegger has his way with a babysitter?

I would happily pin the thread and can promise you that it would go viral in a matter of days. What say you Vince?

"1"

I Take it there was No Response & No Thread forth coming from Vince ??
Why Not Vince ?

And no I havent read through the Whole thread so I could be Wrong.  ;D

Wiggs is the real moron...all he had to do was another 12 lousy years and he would have been retired with a monthly pension.  Im curious as to what made him quit after 11 years but its not my business to ask...or care.  I would nevee ask to see someone's DD214...thats pathetic....and Marvin clearly tucked his tsil and ran.

Again...thread is over

I "quit" after 10 years. I was halfway to a pension. The reasons are pretty straightforward. With another 10 years I would have been 40. My "pension" wouldn't have been enough to live on so I would have to start a new career at 40 and in my career field almost impossible to do. Plus, military politics and B.S. can make what would normally be an ok job, into a sucky one. I'm sure Wiggs had some similar thoughts

Out of curiosity what would your annual pension have been if you'd done 20 years?

No need to answer if it's a private matter.

A high percentage of people I met that were ex-military, or served long military years are broke weirdos. The military is the choice of last resort for most. Stolen valor? LOL. Who the hell wants to even be associated with the military unless they went very far up to the top?

He's not wrong here. The VA does have different criteria depending on the circumstances. You could be qualified for VA benefits after even one day of Basic Training. These are technical aspects and the VA seems to pride themselves on being overly complex and hard to pin down

Personally, I wouldn't think anyone who actually did serve in the military would consider someone who washed out of boot camp on a medical discharge as a fellow veteran regardless of the VA determination.

It was 1992 when I left, I want to say as an E-5 I'd have been looking at about $1100 a month, but I could be off, it's been a long time ago.

From what you posted up your so called Military service is a joke. please don´t mention it again.
