Fight club is a philosophical movie. It's about materialism. In a philosophical sense it's a great movie about current times and attitudes.
Definitely agree about 2001. Just watched it and it is not good. Here's my unpopular choice: Shawshank Redemption
The Dark Knight series and especially Heath Ledger's performance. It was good but people love to wayyyy overhype both.
Bullshit. Heath Ledger's Joker made that Batman movie the best since the original.
2001 has to be taken into context of when it was made. Today, yes it is a shit movie but at the time it was groundbreaking. A lot of classic movies are like this. Like Citizen Kane. Some say one of the best movies ever made but it has to be in context to when it was made in the 1930s.
Batman and Robin with Chris O’Donnel, Arnold the Cuck, and Uma Thurman stunk like you after a walk up a flight of stairs.
That's true. But other old movies like Wizard of Oz are more watchable than Citizen Kane. I tried to watch Citizen Kane once because all the critics had such great things to say about it and couldn't make it the whole way through.
The Godfather
best movie ever, you cannot make a better movie your thread has always proven you have horrible taste in moviesE
Gone with the wind
Anything Robert Redford is is. He’s a very one dimensional character in films
