Abyssinia was under Italian control for 5 years and part of the Impero italiano, but is 'officially' considered one of the African countries which weren't colonised.

Because the government and leadership fled and continued to 'rule in exile', they aren't considered to have been colonised, even though in reality they were. Personally I consider them as a colonised country.

Africa's main problem seems to be the uncontrollable breeding of the worst Africa has to offer. Western funding of low quality food made this even worse. The only crime Europeans are guilty of was trying to establish European ideals with people that are genetically incompatible with them. Also infighting of Euros in Africa was a grave mistake destroying anything good some other Euros had established.
