This has always been my concern. Thanks for posting this. Keto is an easy diet to follow but can get expensive. It's easy to find cheap protein/fat sources but knowing it's heavily processed "mechanically seperated chicken" and god knows what other fillers and preservatives always leaves me wondering if it mitigates the benefits.
Get a freezer.
Shop the sales.
Chicken legs, thighs, quarters. Chicken breast is too lean so don't eat it.

When chicken and pork is on sale I stock up. Likewise the occasional ground beef on sale.
I don't buy organic or free range expensive anything however except organic peanut butter and organic unprocessed coconut oil.
Also I save fat from cooking pork and beef for the lard and freeze it, then use as needed for cooking.
Ok to have a cheat day once in a while.
