I repped 185 on my heaviest "working set" on bench today, unimpressive for a getbigger (I'm not actually one of the bigger guys, 175 lbs this morning) but I was pleased with it, have been working towards that for a while.  I got big into triathlon (nh) for a few years and my strength really suffered. 

Next stop 225x5 maybe.

Muscle clean & press - 8x2
Clean pulls - 4x2
Behind neck press and Bench press to neck - just the bar, 2 sets 20-30 reps each

Legs mainly today

Back squats

3 sets 60kg, 3 sets 80kg, 3 sets 100kg, 2 sets 120kg. 2 stes 140kg, 1 set 160kg.
super setted with biceps hammer curls & tricep overhead extension for high reps

Tri set

Leg extensions / leg curls / High bar squats heels on 1/2 inch block
5 sets only

calves on leg press machine & BB good mornings
7 sets i think it was.

Neck work & abs.



Good workout mate strong squatting

Smith Machine Inclines - 3 sets
Seated Bench Press Machine - 3 sets
DB Flyes - 2 sets

Lat Pulldowns - 3 sets
Seated Cable Rows - 3 sets
Straight-Arm Pulldowns - 2 sets


Again,I cut my volume way back and used moderate weight as I haven`t trained in 2 weeks.  :(

I was carbed up bigtime and got a huge pump......it felt like cumming!!  :D

Either front or back squats,
About 6-8 was ago I increased my flexibility work & started from scratch with
Just the bar & its feeling spot on now 😊
My goal is to get to around 180/90 for 5s
I got a way to go yet !!

It was frustrating the hell out of me it was that awkward & uncomfortable.
I was mainlydoing leg press.

Getting older sucks big time . Still is better than the alternative 😊

Bodybuilding style workout, the first in ages

6 reps on biceps, 8 on triceps, 60 secs rest

Alt d curl superset with pushdown 5 sets

BB conc curl superset with rope overhead extensions 5 sets

BB curl superset with underhand pushdowns 5 sets

Behind back BB wrists curl, just the 20kg bar,  3 sets 30, reps

30 min workout time

5 sets of Smith Machine BB rows for 10 reps down to 5 reps.
5 sets of 5 on close grip pulldowns.

5 sets of Smith Machine Bench Press for 10 reps down to 3 reps.
5 sets of DB flys for 15 reps down to 4 reps.
