He is doing high reps with light weight thinking this is the "rep range for developing cuts" 
High reps til failure work
Supposedly even 2-3; reps shy of failure will stimulate growth
They say the last 5 reps in a set til failure are the only reps that stimulate growth
But I just can't pussy myself down to not training til failure
The cybergenics BB system back in the early 90s was extremely intense going WAY PAST failure
Imho I think that was going just a tad bit too far😁😁
