I am a Chartered Financial Analyst one thing that involves is estate planning. Lawyers write up wills and Trust for tax and probate avoidance aka estate planning. The two are complimentary and that field of law has a lot of money in it.

I can also work for myself as a lawyer. I don't need to be hired by a firm. No sponsorship is required to take the bar.

Regardless though I didn't realize financial compensation was the only possible motivator. Maybe I want to sign up as a court appointed lawyer and help poor people get proper representation. Or maybe I just want to go to Law school for fun maybe it actually interests me???

Lawyers also don't get pushed out due to age you can be 85 years old and a practicing lawyer. No finance and accounting firm is going to employ you as you get older, they push people out in their 50s.

I make about 6 figures now with overtime at my job. I am expecting a raise in the next week or two as I am expecting a full time offer after a year of contract work. I had the interview 10 days ago for the raise. I work from home in my pajamas and make more money than I could make at any local job on the beach.

I told you what I owed on my mortgage and my monthly payment you called me a liar and I posted a statement showing the exact numbers I told you. I told you I had a job interview before I left in my dept and one on Tuesday in another dept you called me a liar and I posted screenshots of email confirmations showing I had a job interview on the 18th and one on the 31st both for financial analyst positions in 2 different dept wtf more do you want?

You know funniest thing I have not been looking as I am prepping a house to sell and trying to move. However I was contacted yesterday about an actually portfolio management and trading position. I have an in person interview next week. It’s on site which would be a pain as house isn’t done yet and I really wanted an easy accounting position from home after the move however for portfolio management and trading it might be worth shaving putting on a shirt and going to an office.

New house still isn’t done but getting closer

My wife works from home. I had my 2nd interview yesterday with the hiring manager. Next step is a panel interview but I have not heard back yet on that. I have never been behind on child support. I paid June Child Support a week early this month

Everyone is always in such a hurry to get to the final destination what is the rush? Slow down enjoy the journey smell the roses. Can I even apply to Law school before worrying about the bar exam? I haven't even visited the campus yet. If I get in, am I allowed to consider if I really want to go? Can I see how much financial aid I do or do not get? Can I enjoy going to law school first? You have to go to an ABA accredited school and get a JD to sit for the bar. But baby steps can I take my lsat and apply first?

Anyway heading to the gym going to train some chest and work on my knee with some backward treadmill stuff today
