You do not have what it takes to make it through 3 years of law school, passing the bar, and then actually practicing. Even assuming you did, you will be 50 by the time you enter the profession. Unless you go to Duke you will not be making much $ at all and working ridiculous hours.
This is not for you Hanks - get a garbage man job or some other govt job that has benefits and you will be far better off. Your time has passed on this Quixotic fantasy you are engaged in.
I am a Chartered Financial Analyst one thing that involves is estate planning. Lawyers write up wills and Trust for tax and probate avoidance aka estate planning. The two are complimentary and that field of law has a lot of money in it.
I can also work for myself as a lawyer. I don't need to be hired by a firm. No sponsorship is required to take the bar.
Regardless though I didn't realize financial compensation was the only possible motivator. Maybe I want to sign up as a court appointed lawyer and help poor people get proper representation. Or maybe I just want to go to Law school for fun maybe it actually interests me???
Lawyers also don't get pushed out due to age you can be 85 years old and a practicing lawyer. No finance and accounting firm is going to employ you as you get older, they push people out in their 50s.
Just not sure why me applying to law school you consider some kind of personal affront. Beats sitting home arguing with you idiots.
