Starting balance training this week to help with core

Don't forget to add some diaphragmatic stuff in there (look up crocodile breathing exercise).  The diaphragm and TA muscle work together.  Weak TA is also associated with LBP

From what I've read, stomach vacuums are considered one of the best ways to strengthen the transverse abdominus.

I have never tried the helicopter and most light switches are not several inches in length.

Planks (make it as hard as you like...but FORM is crucial here)
Alternating Leg Raises
Hollow Body Hold
Bird Dog ( and variations with bands and BOSU)
Dead Bug
Pallof Press
Posterior Pelvic Tilts

Most gen pop in gyms aren't engaging the TA / midline properly when doing planks.  Thats why so many say "I can hold for hours".  When engaged properly, they don't last 1 min.
