Can you mentally handle being 200 lbs?

Fuck no. I’m down to 230 now and I’ve only just gotten used to it. I’d imagine I’d need to be at 215-220 from what I’ve seen so far, to have abs. When I was 250 I would’ve thought I’d be ripped at this weight. Must’ve been delusional.

To resolve not to waste a minute when feeling good, hitting the work outs hard. Going to quit my retirement job in March and concentrate on building a business from my home computer. I figure it will take six months and I could fall on my face but I have to try. Too hit a half million views on my Youtube training channel thread would be nice. I'm close.

Most importantly to value my wife more and to never forget Jesus in my life. I see my expiration date and I can't waste anymore time.

You might want to consult Bhanky or Vince G. who have very successful Youtube channels.

I’ve been running a lot recently. Always did bodybuilder style cardio, incline walk, stairs etc.

Running is amazing. I never once felt accomplished after the 40 mins on the stairs. Just something that had to be done.

The feeling when your 3 miles into your 4 mile goal and having to talk yourself into finishing, finding mental resolve. Nothing else in the bodybuilding sphere has that effect.

First self outing of 2024.

mentzer says this, my old coach at X says this etc etc.

Can’t just do his own thing  ???

youre kidding right?

i follow NO ONE what i do is keep an open mind and listen to others to discover truths and try the things they say and if they work implment them if not i disgard them and dispose of them

you must be your own fucking scientist and discover what works best for you and employ it

wild horses as mentzer called me do let others control them ;)

If you are 230 at 20-23% BF, you need to lose 23lbs+ of flub to be in ripped.

You're probably underestimating BF.

I don’t think it’s that high, but I could be wrong. I’d send you a pic, but chaos is the only dude I’ve sent shirtless pics to (no homo).

Well, my new "rollator" walker is due this week and I failed on that resolution not to have to use one...So my new and even more upset with myself resolution is to stay out of the wheelchair the doctor has said is coming for me.  I visited my brother and his wife in Tucson and she is an ICU nurse and they let me try out a walker there.

It is humiliating.  But to put things in perspective a friend of my brother had a massive stroke back when I had my humongous heart attacks and that stroke rendered him an invalid.  He cannot walk at all.  I wanted to visit him but my brother knew better than to allow me to do that as I don't think I could take that poor man's reality and would try to work up the nerve to drive off a cliff.  But not over the ocean as I knew I would survive and drown, LOL!  My brother visits him frequently and helped him sell his motorcycles as he cannot ride not even a trike.

So my resolution is to not ignore myself.   I have PT and a doctor appointment this week and having been humbled at my last PT because I didn't want to park in the Handicapable space and then had another patient park so close to my car that when I tried to get in I fell backwards and was stuck between the two cars until I could pull/wiggle out.  The man came out and saw me get free and then quickly got into his car and left without saying a word.  I will park in the Gimp Spot  from now on, LOL!

So that is my resolution.  Do not ignore yourself my friends.  I do not want a wheelchair ever.  I had no idea how strong my legs were until I came here and spoke with Coach and then another gentleman that was also a strength coach in Florida.  Now I am lucky/fortunate/blessed to be walking let alone (still!) alive.   I didn't really ignore my injuries but many times I had no idea I was injured.  So again.  Do not ignore yourself.

Happy New Year!

I am home now.  I stayed only 4 days and for some reason I thought you were out of town so I did not PM you.  Would it be permissible to check in with via PM when next I go?  I have to drive over again with one of my Laser Disc players to go into Phoenix to get a repair estimate done and my brother would probably come with me as sometimes I cannot drive well.

I had wanted to ride my motorbike out there but that might turn out poorly for me.  ;D
He just had two of his receivers refitted with new capacitors, lights, etc. at this place.  I told him about wanting to meet you and he said not this time as we also went to Tombstone to get some souvenirs for my three grandchildren!

Please let me know and thank you for asking!

Resolution, HA. Live right every day and there is no need for a "resolution". Resolutions are on the top of my list for the stupid things stupid people do.

I look at them as more a reminder than a resolve.  A promise made to oneself if you will.  The only promises made to anyone that are stupid are the ones that are not within mortal reason and therefor cannot be met.  ;D
