But I'm asking if 2 people of similar stats have wildly different metabolisms. For example one doesn't lose weight on 1800 calories and the other loses on 2600 calories. You see this claim here, there, everywhere, often by reputable people. I'm claiming it's not really true, the "calorie requirement charts" usually work because stats metabolisms don't differ so wildly.
I know you questioned if the charts you looked at were really correct, but I think calories probably "disappear" somehow in a manner you haven't thought about. I haven't seen you IRL, but you could maybe be someone who fidgets a lot, is always on the move, and that burns calories
