The $4000 trike only keeps his interest for a couple of weeks, now he needs a whole new flight of fancy. Sad for the innocents around him, Sounds like his wife, encouraging him

Dude really weird how is lifting weights or riding a trike or competing in a bodybuilding show or studying for an exam mutually exclusive in your pea size brain? You can do more than one fucking thing

You’re lifting weights now too?

So you’re weight training, working and riding the trike?

And studying for an exam and a million other things you can do more than one thing

Lucky for me a lawyer doesn't need to get hired by a law firm. You can literally just stick a sign in front of your house and you have your own business. Someone with some funds might even be smart enough to buy a house across from the courts with a home office on a visible corner lot. Tell the other lawyers in town you will take the shitty cases they don't want and you will never run out of clients.

Again, I am not a lawyer, but I think you should ask someone in the know about this plan. I think it's a real grind to build a practice from the ground up. I've overheard some things, so this is just secondhand info from in laws. They take cases that have low chances for success and only get paid if they win. They have to trudge their way through wills and business filings to build up their client base and keep the lights on. After years of that they can break even. You should ask if that's still feasible in 5 years or if AI will put a dent into any of that strategy.

And what type of a person will hire a lawyer because they saw their sign across from the courthouse? You should consider the types of clients you will get as a newbie lawyer and if you will enjoy interacting with those people. Hanky I think you can pass the tests and get through the school if you are as book smart as you claim. But there's more to being a successful lawyer than intelligence. You have to network and you need social skills.

A general practice attorney is lucky if he makes 90K.  The guy doing house closings, wills and drunk drivers in municipal court isn't making that much.  Plus he has to work night municipal court hours.

Lawyers that are certified trial lawyers and work law suits and specialist lawyers are making a mint.

Bhank apperas to have absentmindedly omitted a couple of pertinent facts on top of the 'real effort' and 'grinding' to explain any before&after difference:

I'm not sure about your closings argument.

Guy I graduated college with went into law specializing in closings.  At one point, he was doing 20-30 a week at only $500 a pop.  It translated to easily over 500k per year, and that was the early 2000s.

Obviously it's market/economy dependent, but still.

All fun discussion, but he's not going to be a lawyer.

If you’re a Lawyer Bhank you’ll actually have to follow laws. You will be disbarred if that’s how you think you will get clients as those cases may be shady.
“ Business Permits and Zoning Laws: Operating a business from home may require specific permits and must comply with local zoning laws. Not all residential areas allow commercial activities.”

Bhanky,
You don't need an office.
You could do your lawyering from your tricycle like Matthew McConnohay did from his limo in the Lincoln Lawyer.

Nope, 24 states for recreational and 38 out of 50 for medicinal use.

In no ones language that is "almost everywhere"

Whatever the farm bill has DeFacto legalized it in the entire country. THC derived from Hemp is legal everywhere.

Dude you think California and Idaho have the same populations? Marijuana is legal for most Americans. THC from Hemp is legal for all Americans. Why do you think you can google something you never looked into in a Country you don't live and tell me about it when I have been actively following it for 20 years?

Imagine a room for a full of lawyers, Hanky trying to pull something like that.

One thing about the law, facts matter.
