I did some google research about hangovers way back. Dehydration was one possible cause of headaches but there's something else going on, spirits like cognac cause subjectively worse hangovers than vodka for example. I think beers were also worse than vodka. Drinking alcohol to relax the night before, ok, or taking it pre-stage to feel warm and a little bit of vasodilation, ok too, but relying on alcohol as a diuretic when you are already taking diuretics seems like a bad idea to me, imagine a hangover, now imagine that hangover if you also took lasix lol, the combo could easily kill you.

The one and only show I did I drank several glasses of white wine, had to be dry white wine lol, the night before and felt like death on show day.

So many unanswered questions, and based on his ridiculous postings last time for Da Cup where he was unable to control himself, I don't think this is some masterful sandbag toll job (hats off if it is!).  We still have zero proof to show:

How many were in his class

If he showed up at the finals
What he placed

Weve seen this before. 2 days before show he manufacturers a preemptive excuse. He shows up to the show, sees if there's any chance of winning or if he's going to get blown away. If there's no chance of winning he leaves after pre judging and employs whatever the excuse was (spaghettios, diarrhea,  Adderall, cartoon dogs, vomiting,  map, etc. )

He entered . Saw he was going to lose. Then left before finals.

.. I'm expecting someone to dispute this so I'll say, if you think otherwise, it's that you weren't there or you don't remember.  He was poison at the start.  Different to hankins but extremely similar in taking himself seriously.  Now look at him.  Sense of humour and everything.

Many moons ago, I did open mic standup comedy for a while and it was probably one of the hardest things I've ever done.  I was unlikable.  I genuinely had a low opinion of the barflies that I was doing it to and that really shone out to the people I was doing it for.  I noticed a very clear change in level of success when I lightened up and started being less of a snobby c.unt.  When I say "success", I mean, I got through them with a few laughs and felt less of an alien and whatnot.   It was an interesting period of humility.  I thoroughly recommend hankins does some open mics, I think that will give him a tremendous sense of perspective

This is a good and true life lesson.

Hankins had already had close calls with diuretics previously, how stupid can you be to do it again. Granted, bodybuilders are known to lose their heads in the end. Even without diuretics, guys often say they will not do anything with their water or sodium prior but I think every single one still does, like stopping drinking the previous night and dropping sodium.
