Regarding the lats, Dorian's insert lower, but his lats have a more flared shape to them whereas Ronnie's have more of a progressive curve thus giving the illusion of a lower insertion.
Regarding the rear delts, Ronnie's were never as clearly separated as Dorian's in the rear lat spread.
To me, they are fairly close in the rear lat, but Yates has a slight advantage in the back, slightly better conditioning, and of course, the calves.
Pretty much agree with this assessment.
However, both bodybuilders hit the pose markedly differently- and the same goes for the rear double bi.
Ronnie rounds his back and haunches his traps more, as has been noticed- it somehwat detracts from his width, but it produces that incredible 'bubble' of muscle up around his neck, the upper traps. Dorian hits his standing more upright, which seems to be the more conventional way to do it. As a second alternative, Jay seems to round his back like Ronnie a little, but he pushes his entire frame backwards.
So too with the rear double bi. Dorian hits his in a straight up and down fashion, Ronnie hits his leaning quite far back.
