If politics were involved Flex would have won the 1998 Mr Olympia , he could have beat Ronnie if he was 100% and your damn right he was lucky in 1998 , Lucky they didn't go with the heir apparent , lucky Flex was off
2001 Ronnie lost the whole prejudging I mean this is the biggest gift he ever received , NO ONE in the history of bodybuilding has ever lost the whole prejudging and came back and won the whole contest in the posing rounds , I don't feel it was fixed but Ronnie was extremely lucky
2002 Ronnie was way off and again another clear contest that he could have just as easily lost
2004 Jay was closing the gap , Ronnie was way to big and holding water I think he looked terrible in 04 another contest where he was just daring the judges to mark him down
overall he was NOT as dominant as Haney or Yates
Sorry?
I didn't say politics were involved. This is logical, not Hulkster

But Flex wasn't 100%, and hadn't been 100% since 93. To the point where I think Yates said that that 93ASC was a fluke. It shouldn't be about heir apparant. If you're arguing that there weren't politics involved, you should just say they give it to the best man on the day. None of this heir apparent stuff.
I don't think 2001 prejudging was fixed- I think Jay looked remarkable- but I actually think that Ronnie looked awesome. He was simply massive, and he had a tiny, tiny waist. He was holding water, but come on- does this mean he should lose it to Jay?
2002 he could have lost- you're right, but he didn't.
ND all this amounts to is a string of observations that 'he could have lost.'
Well, Yates could have lost all his contests- had someone better than him shown up. There was no one better than Ronnie in 2001, 2002, 2004, just like there was no one better than Dorian when he won.
