so far, you guys have avoided the truth that dorian is not as good as peak ronnie by saying:

1. the 99 footage is fake

2. dorian has a strange magic phenomenon due to the light waves reflecting off of his...all that bullshit

and

3. only someone who wears a name tag that says "judge" could possibly know anything about how to assess a physique - therefore we cannot possibly be correct in saying that ronnie is obviously better (in his peak form).

Again stop judging Dorian using Ronnie as the criteria , lets say he has everything you just mentioned , HE STILL DOMINATED EVERYONE  he doesn't ( entertaining your nonsense ) need bigger arms , a smaller waist and muscles that appear like Ronnies , he does not need to look like Ronnie to beat Ronnie , he beat everey single competitor he faced in a resounding and dominating fashion despite not having the biggest biceps , despite not having a small waist & hips , despite his muscles ' appearing ' smooth , despite not being aesthetic , despite all of his assumed flaws he still managed to dominate NOT just barely win , not win by a few points I mean he walked all over everyone , you ever wonder why? the man never placed below second in a professional contest in his career , do you realize how insane that is? in such a subjective sport he won 15 out of 17 contests in GRAND FASHION with his only two loses being close , in order to win with  perfect scores 13 different , independent judges all look at the same bodybuilder and come to the same conclusion he meets the criteria better than the competition and is above & beyond everyone else , so keep hyperfocusing on his flaws and what you think his flaws are because they mean nothing compared to his strengths and don't use Ronnie has the criteria because he's a bad base especially considering Dorian won all of his Olympias with straight firsts and Ronnie didn't so Dorian satisfied the criteria more so than Ronnie so if anything Dorian's strengths should be used as a template and NOT Ronnies

no I am not (except in perhaps 97)

fact is, dorian was just too big for his main competition (flex and shawn) and when they were "out of the top running" and he faced someone his size, that person had no back (nasser).

99 ronnie was neither of these. and he was essentially the best of all worlds:

he had more aesthetics than dorain
more detail
and unlike shawn and flex (and nasser for that matter) had a wide back.

you are confusing my arguments about these two things:

1.dorian being a deserving winner (which he probably was most of the time)

and

2.Ronnie being better than dorian (which given both of these guys at their peaks (no, not ronnie in 1995... ) I think is quite clear.

I was referring specifically and ONLY to the second case.

these are standard muscular attributes that have always been preferred and always been judged at contests..
