when i first started following bbing, one of the things always mentioned was yates at 93 olympia and that was years later.

to this day, the 93 olympia and yates dominance still pops up, meanwhile, you never hear or see anything in print about the 99 olympia.

besides, if the 99 olympia is even mentioned, all the talk is about cormier, not ronnie.

Even an "in shape" Flex, as in the ASC form, would still be stomped by Yates in 93. Yates was miles more conditioned with 40lbs more muscle.

BTW if Haney was 260 he still wasn't big enough. With real balance he'd have been 20 or more lb. heavier.

At least during Yates' reign the magazines admitted that Yates didn't have the best arms in bodybuilding. I've never once read in any magazine that Coleman has weak calves. I have read it on numerous websites and on just about every forum. Political correctness obviously doesn't exist as much on the net.

Whenever someone states in a magazine that Coleman is the best bodybuilder ever they never give a reason why. In the 90s people often referred to Yates as the "best ever" and "the most complete package in bodybuilding". I've never heard anyone say the same about Coleman. They say he is the best ever and that's it. LOL
