With the understanding of CTE and just how terrible it is for brain health - I can’t imagine much worse for a child. I just had a talk with my oldest daughter. Have a very good friend that’s a neurosurgeon and he explained that if you really care about your kids you won’t have them doing anything that causes head trauma. You can’t eliminate it - EVERY contact sport cause CTE - but boxing is by far the worst. The repeated blows directly to the head are just brutal long term.
