Just reinforces my stance that if you train, you need to interview the PT.  People walk around a gym and see if it is a place they want to train at...this is no different.  Some of the PT's are just happy giving people the most basic of shit and never learning more that that.  They will do continuing ed but won't bother to implement shit.  I was in a seminar with some PT's and talking to them they couldn't be bothered to peel back the layers on what the class was about.

Odd question for me, and might be difficult to answer, but what questions would you think to ask if you weren't "you"?

Meaning what are the basics one can ask to interview a PT if they don't have your level of knowledge?

4) Have you worked with my surgeon before?  What sort of communication do you use with surgeons/PA's
5) Besides exercise, what other metrics do you use for measuring progress
6) (if they have worked with people who have had you issue) What is the general time frame for recovery you have seen for people with this?
7) How strongly do you advocate people to do outside therapy while under your care?
8.) What modalities do you utilize here? (dry needling, cupping, shockwave, etc)

Most rehabs are designed around getting the normal person back to being normal.

Not for the kind of shit everyone here does.

You can fall into a similar situation here if you're not educated on the subject like Krank.  I have had experiences with both.

For the US, HMO plans are managed care and typically you will need a referral from the PCP for anything you do with any sort of specialty (surgery, PT, etc).  PPO plans you can do whatever you want.

I would have told the PT to fuck off and then find another one.  I went to a PT place right after my rotator tear.  They knew what I did for a living.  The last day I went, they had me sitting on a ball, lifting one leg up (for balance) then raising my arm out to the side.  I did one set, stopped and then said if anyone can tell me how this is supposed to get my rotator stronger I will gladly continue.  I got no answer.

The surgeons you describe sound like the one who did my meniscus.  He was a complete douche.

I have a large head and jaw and know how to push my chin forward to emphasize it but dont be fooled the neck tapes 19 inches, I used to do wrestler bridges all the time. If I pull the chin back my neck eats it and you guys claim I have triple chins. I absolutely do not want a larger neck. You guys all seem to think I am 185lbs but I am 220lbs solid my neck and the rest of me is way bigger than you realize

When was the last time you did neck bridges?

Without regular training, there will be no optimal neck strength.

My own neck training consists of static neck bridges for several minutes: back and front, and side to side for reps.

I use a neck harness for the back of the neck and plates for the sides and front while lying off the edge of a bench. Also put 20 kg's on chest and do back bridges for reps on a mat.

Heavy shrugs are also useful.

Obviously after 3 weeks of no exercise off TRT recovering from surgery I am having some atrophy however the gap in the chest is gone. The Dr actually made a pic and marked me at 2 months when I am only3 weeks.

So again optimistic still remains p be seen how much of a chest wall and sweep I have but the hole is gone

He also claimed to have a cast-iron grip due to wrestling a bit 30 years ago in the small private-school division, but then needs straps to pull 405 :D

It was 425 and I used straps just like everyone does when they go heavier something you have never done that doesn't mean I couldn't have pulled it without. Have you seen my hands and forearms fucking nonsense that a 170lb hulk who cant pull double their bodyweight is talking shit about weightlifting to me. I have one leg outweigh you by 50lbs dont deadlift and still pulled a better ratio than you. Let me know when you bench press 350 for a double I have post pec tear and you never will. You are victim weight.

I did 315 for a couple reps without straps then I put 405 on and did a rep with straps. I then came back a week later and did 315 for a couple then pulled 425 with straps for a single at 211lbs. So I attempted and pulled over 400lbs only twice in my life. No idea wtf you are talking about I keep doing it without. But I was not at failure. I have never failed a deadlift attempt in my life. You are just making up lies to make yourself feel better. I did a double bodyweight pull with no real deadlift training on a bad knee. Meanwhile you train deadlifts are only 170lbs and still cant pull double your bodyweight. You are victim weight and weak for your weight.

The heaviest deadlift you have shown on video is 280x10, that projects to a 1RM of about 345-365 which sounds about right for you given your demonstrated "strength" on squats.

We are not talking about me, I have shown my claimed strength on videos.  All you do is talk/project/guess about it.
