Probably McGill big 3.
Whats going on with the upper back?
It was the upper back I had the problem with when you adviced. Basically I had been pretty much immobile most of the time for a year or two, then it just started hurting one day between my shoulder blades. If I sit and lower my chin it hurts. When I cough it hurts. Hurts when I put on socks or pick up stuff. There is a mild ache present most times, now with my lower back feeling terrible it's mentally a bitch each morning especially, really sours the mood. With upeer back the doc asked "what did you do" but I didn't do anything, I said I had a stretch of 15 years of deadlifting in excess of 660lbs every week and probably had a herniation, but docs who don't lift can't conseptualize it probably, the weights mean nothing. Past year I've started lifting regularly, past 4 months almost daily, but the pain is worse, the skin on my front thighs feels a bit numb and there's the sciatica pain down my leg. Historically back pain has always let up for me over time but now it seems like my lower back is constantly inflamed. I don't know if they ever do, but I'd like to do a few days of a strong cortisone just to see what happens

The docs said this was never done for back pain but a few on professionalmuscle had gotten oral corticos for back ailments.
I know these drugs are serious stuff but perhaps not overly dangerous in the very short term? I even got a nurse to swipe me a box but haven't dared to try it yet.
But we'll see after the 17th what the MRI says, of course I'd want one for my lower back as well.
