There is a law that states you cannot hinder a person from earning a living in their chosen profession. I think by monpolizing the funnel system, the ifbb dos exactly that. I know of many instances(including my own personal experience) where a bodybuilder did not get a fair shake, due to personality conflicts on one level or another.
There are a few things working against the IFBB that did not exist until recent times.
1) People know more, in general, about the IFBB's shady business practices today than 10 years ago
2) The internet allows concerned individuals to communicate with one another on an almost instant basis, giving them the ability to put similar ideas in one place
3) forums like these enable concerned individuals to put IFBB promoters, officials, and judges on the spot...and eventually, they will have to answer
4) people are smarter than they used to be - they know understand that the IFBB isn't really the ticket to anything...and that they can make a lot more money building their own enterprises, etc
I hope the PDI plays it straight from day one.
