The people in these fires are wealthy people like Arnold, who came out to Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades and bought properties in the 70s for $75000 that are now worth MILLIONS. Those people are in their 70s and 80s and about to leave those million dollar homes to their white kids, who are now in their 50s with kids in high school. Those homes are PAID OFF.
So now instead of the homes, the white families will get an insurance check. No one will rebuild in Cali but move, and the government will fucking PILLAGE the disaster relief funds to "rebuild". Here the mayor focuses on "rebuilding" before the fire is even under control. She knows.
This is a pure attack on white privilege. Let those rich white people let their insurance pay them, none of them would ever rebuild in California with the taxes, so the government will keep all the relief money.
They have already found arsonisits and the first fire is being investigated as arson. But FOLLOW THE RELIEF MONEY!!
