I went back to my gym and worked back yesterday. I’m very sore today. Yet, I used the same machines that I’ve been using for the last couple years. The difference was that I used resistant bands on all my back movements. In other words, I attached resistant bands to all the machine and freeweights movements that I did.

I have unlocked the secret of muscle growth. Use different machines and then add in resistant bands.

You’re welcome.

This weekend I rigged my muscle stimulator machine with a 2005 iPod to pump “Land of Confusion” through the electrode pads. My muscles are currently very confused and therefore growing at a rapid rate.

Tomorrow I'm going to supinate my triceps instead of my biceps. I expect my muscles will become so confused that my arms grow 0.45 inches.

i sometimes sit on the leg extension machine and do a set of side raises. it confuses the quads and 'shocks' the delts

only yesterday I was passing a battle re-enactmentsite and got accused to smuggling two cannonballs in my shirt

Krizo really confusing the muscle. Does a back exercise, then chest, then back, then chest, etc. One moment his body is like "Im working back" and then BAM, does a chest exercise. Keeping the body guessing.

Wonder what the bodybuilders really thought about Weider. And if they talked shit about him. From what I could tell he was really venerated publicly, and of course he was as he had the money, what little there was. But really, a gay pornographer and grifter. There was no internet and ideas weren't shared freely and widely so generations of youngsters were influenced by him and he was probably taken half seriously. The most absurd scam were the "power" wrist cuffs Arnold modeled :'( :D

I haven't followed Krizo at all so I don't know his approach, but from what I've seen most of the Euros do things very methodical and simple and perhaps "boring." There are few gimmicks or "magic" solutions. Very formulaic, the training, PEDs and diet, all, no confusion principles. And it works. Here it appears he is just maintaining for an imminent show (?) so it's what you see :D

That formulaic planning is why you can now bring up a bodybuilder to his approximate max very quickly. Good predictability.

Well that one's quite old, but I think it was the "Weider Thermal Transfer System" - came with what he called "Carbon-Max" supplements* IIRC

I just worked chest and confused the muscle. I did very slow reps and my muscles didn’t know what was going on.

I went to a different gym today and primarily used hoist machines. Iworked back. My back is already cramping up. The fact that I rarely use hoist machines and used them today, and my back is already feeling it, supports the muscle confusion hypothesis.
