I weighed myself and I gained a pound or two. I have been training hard this whole week. I last weighed myself a couple days ago. This is the first week that i have stopped any cardio so it can go either way, I could be gaining fat or cardio has stopped interfering with my muscle growth and they grew. Looking at my biceps(this is just by eye) they look the same size but they do look a little more 'cut' and maybe feel a little harder. Its hard to tell if I gained fat since im pretty fat as is. I cant find my tape measure to see if they grew, I should measure more parts of my body but I only measure my biceps. How long does it take for you guys to add a pound of muscle? I take about 50 grams of protein in shakes and plus I eat protein rich foods like turkey chicken and egg. Thanks for any help!

I prefer to go by my tape measure and mirror rather than the scale.

You sound to me like 1 of them ppl. that weighs/measures their body(parts) too often!!Doing that can lead to you becoming discouraged when you reach the stage where gains have slowed & are harder to come by.Put the tape & scale away & measure/weigh yourself once a month.Gains will be more noticable that way & won't lead to discouragement.

the scale does not mean crab. Its how you look and others see you.  concentrate on the look, and definatley dont measure all the time

the mirror is a much better gauge
