Milos, please, tell us the scoop

Lucky Luke don't want to tell us wich show he is doing this fall

I'm sure you have the answer  ;)

Lucky Luke will tell you and the truth is Lucky Luke is undecided as to competing again this year.

Didn't say that, but take it as you will.  A lot of believers intend to follow the gospel, but faith without works is dead.  If Jesus is the center of your life, you will not need to tell others you are a Christian.  They will know by your words, and DEEDS.

And not from pics of your car or house; that's getting old...

Vince - consider that you have VIP pass for life (any time you come) in Koloseum Gym Fullerton.
However - please forgive me for not having kneeling triceps extension machine...
I do that exercise often - changing the height of the pulley and using different benches as a support for elbows (and sometimes purposely no support at all)...but I must admit - I don't have that machine...

Milos what about me bro? Can i get a VIP pass for life  ??? Seriously i'd come over there and train if can, definitely bro

Thanks, Milos, for that gesture. I know you mean for the life of your gym and not necessarily my lifetime.  :)You are welcome at my gym any time. Could you tell us what brands of equipment you have in your gym?

Vince - Milo's gym has soooooooo much equipment it will make your head spin. I don't think I've ever seen a gym that has as much equipment per square foot.

He has all of the great stuff (Hammer, Cybex VR2, Cybex Plate Loaded, etc.). Also, his dumbbells go up to 200lbs.

It's not necessarily the cleanest gym around, but it is clean. More importantly, it's HARDCORE! You'll love it!

Milos,

I looked on your Enter the Mind board for information about a guy named Dr. Mauro Di Pasquale who is a nutritional expert.  I found that you put a link to his site Metabolicdiet.com and said it was good information.

My question is are you familiar with his "Anabolic Diet"? He claims it is a low carb, hi protein/fat diet designed to help bodybuilders add more lean mass without fat as compared to the conventional higher carb/protein, low fat diet. It is similar to the Metabolic diet in many ways Do you find this to be true from experience or from past research.  I have the book and also another training manual he co-authored entitled "Serious Strength Training".  I am a beginning trainee and I want to add quality muscle and not just bulk up on misappropriated calories and end up with mostly fat accumulation. The training book has great routines and explanations but it is the diet I question.  I had to ask because out of all the bb community, "gurus", etc.  you are one of the only ones that truly apply knowledge and research into bb nutrition.  Thanks alot.

Steven,

I have nothing but respect for Doctor Mauro Di Pasquale and I read all of his books...
His knowledge of biochemistry far exceeds mine...and I certainly had a lot to learn from him.
However, I do have some different views on THE BEST AND MOST EFECTIVE bodybuilders diet and I did get into deep conversation with him during one of the SWISS conventions...

Both Metabolic and Anabolic diets are GREAT...no question...Try it and make your experience with it.

I always like to use Bruce Lee's method: OBSERVE and LEARN (everything and anything), ACCEPT WHAT IS USEFUL (good and what makes sense), DISCARD WHAT IS USELESS (bad and makes no sense) and CREATE ESSENTIALLY YOUR OWN (style, method, opinion...ANYTHING ;))....

When I teach my clients diets, training programs and..."secrets of the pros ;D" I tell them the same philosophy...
I tell them to accept what they find useful...and usually I would ask them at the end IF they indeed have found anything to be useful and that makes sense...

Normally - I get the answer - everything makes perfect sense...and THAT is why they continue with "my methods"...

Mauro Di Pasquale has MANY satisfied customers as well...believe me.

Thank you very much Milos for your advice.  I was a bit hesitant to try it because I thought that I could not train effectively on a low carb diet and build muscle at the same time.  Obviously there must be more to it than that if so many praise his diet program.  I will definitely give it a shot and see what happens. Not guts no glory right?  ;) Take care

You can train very effectively without carbs - using FAT as a substrate that fuels you or letting your body convert protein (gluconeogenesis) to glucose...BUT that was exactly a topic of my discussion with Mauro...

Try this diet for a while and maybe after few weeks you want to try modifying it a little bit (my way) by adding specific carbs only during specific (logical ;)) times during a day...
