He's jealous bro...misery loves company.

i alternate between tbars and bent over rows every 5-6 weeks. sometimes i do them first in my routine and sometimes last. BO rows are an excellent back mass builder, i also alternate grips as well(overhand or underhand). i feel it more in my lats when i do them underhand for some reason.

Keep up the excellent work, fuck the haters, you have a solid build and good tri's for your size.

Is the angle the muscles are worked the biggest difference between results from T-bar rows and bent over rows--or is there something else?

90 degrees BOR's are BS, excuse the language.

60 degrees or even 30 degrees are better alternatives, and finish it with dumbbell row or a levermachine. Bending over to much puts to much pressure on your lower back, making that point your weakest link.

Always make a proper jugdement between form and function. 90 degrees maximum ROM, but it holds your back to make proper improvements.

It depends on the person-for some, 90 degrees is easier on the lower back, for others 30 degrees is better.

After doing BB rows for many years I've concluded that they are not as effective as alternatives like T-bar rows, 1-arm DB rows, hammer-rows, etc. The main problem is the loose form that occurs because the back isn't prevented from moving. If the back is braced by resting the head or chest against a bench during BB rows there's a huge difference in lat isolation.

T-bars they hit the lats at a different angle AND they're easier on the back IMO, because you're able to lean back at angles that aren't viable with regular straight up and down BB rows.

True,
but the same for T-bar rows, a lot of people just can do them because of their shoulders.
Dumbbells, main problem weight. Their not enough gyms who have heavy dumbells. Hammer-rows is not my thing.

I sometimes use a other alternative, so called lying row,

Almost impossible to cheat, and always good form. There's a special bar, but you can also use a ez-bar, or even a regular bar.

I use this one, it's the lowest-tech, easiest way to isolate the lats during rows without a T-bar or machines.

Another advantage they're nowhere near as exhausting as various forms of freeweight rows, because the lower back isn't involved.
