paul anderson is recognized as the strongest ever.  Olympic lifter and great pwerlifter.  he trained at home by himself (no silly westside barbell shit with chains, bands, etc.) and no drugs.  this was in the 40's and 50's.  he's rumored to have squatted like 1200 for reps.  back than they didnt know what a squat suit or wraps were.

as for now,  gary frank

gary frank would eat mark henry alive.  makr only has a good deadlift. his other lifts sucks.

Mark is a FULL TIME  wrestler who travels 300 days a year. Gary Frank is a FULL TIME powerlifter who does nothing but train to get bigger numbers. When Mark posted his best numbers over 10 years ago, had he dedicated himself to powerlifting his numbers would be unmatchable.

I guess you think his squat was piss poor too huh  ::)

From the world of strongman, powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting and bodybuilding.

I'd say its out of ronnie coleman and the Olympic superheavyweight champion/world record holder in weightlifting Hossein Rezazadeh.

  Greg Kovacs:

 - 625 lbs incline press, 8 reps
 - 300 lbs dumbbell rows, 6 reps
 - 445 lbs front military press, 12 reps
 - 810 lbs squat, 6 reps
 - 800 lbs dead-lift, 5 reps
 - 2700 lbs leg press, 15 reps
 - 300 lbs flat dumbbell press, 6 reps

Hope this helps! :D As I've mentioned previously, Kovacs is the only human being, ever, who could match his strengh against that of a silverback gorilla, albeit only the smaller ones...

Now that could be the funniest set of numbers every posted.  I swear I almost fell off the chair reading this one.  He ain't even close to any of those numbers in any of those lifts.

I'm telling ya it's this Samoan chief. I'd have to do some research but there were several pics floating around of just insane lifts. 645 shoulder presses behind the neck, free-no Smith! To my knowledge he never did strong mans n stuff he was just one strong mofo....
And in my opinion, that's probably who the world's strongest man ever was. A nobody in the middle of nothing w/just an insane genetic gift.

Another nugget of wisdom from sucky.

While your at it, you couldnt possibly provide some stats for a silverback gorilla, albeit only a smaller one

All muscletech hype. These so-called lifts were never witnessed by anyone. Henderson Thorne will also account for this.
