Check out this comparison. Look at the difference in his waist (which I've read many times is not visible in his back poses). That's a HUGE and horrible difference between Ronnie '98 and '05.EDIT: For some reason the first pic shows up down-sized by getbig. Just drag the pic to the "internet" pic at the bottom of IE and it'll open at fullsize. Can anyone create an animated gif of the two pics? (Or at least a side-by-side comparison)
winning with a sub par phyisque is fair and justified if your competition is also sub-par...relative to 1998/1999I agree with all of the points on this thread concerning ronnie's current physque.Problem is, all these new flaws don't matter much relative to his competition if he is still good enough to win.In 1998/9 he faced:Flex WheelerKevin LevroneShawn RayChris CormierNasser El SombatyIn 2004/5 he faced:Jay CutlerMarkus RuhlDexter JacksonGunter SchlierkampGastavo BadellNot taking anything away from today's pro's, but there is a huge difference between these lineups.
Check out the brutal epic phantasmic entities haunting DeShauns crib... I could have swore I had a pair of drawers like that hanging on the clothes pin in my backyard...now I think of it I am missing mine. I wonder...
Here's a comparison of the two Ronnies.Notice the HUGE waist difference (in the center of the pic) but very little lat-width difference (Ronnie on the right, the black and white strip is the old Ronnie). I'd say the v-taper of old Ronnie blows new Ronnie out of the water.
