You have to choose the right pizzas and ice creams.

You can have the kinds you like though, you just have to know how much and when to stop.

You may have already done this, but what kinds do you recommend?  Are there certain brands you look for

Pizza?  :o :D

You got to make a simple choice sometimes.

Do I want a few slices of pizza or do I really want that extra 150 grams of protein that is going to go to waste anyways.

hahahahahahah

Sometimes thats one way you can eat pizza.

Well, well, well now isn't this interesting....

Berzerk and TA have the exact SAME IP #s.  So, it seems, they are the same person, or else two different people posting from the same computer or house.  LOL!  TA/Berzerk you're pathetic because you're basically talking to yourself.

Quite the bullshit artist, eh? There goes any credibility you had on this forum, although you had absolutely nothing to begin with. Monster jealousy of people making gains on Team Adonis principles.

Ha ha!  All joking aside, here is an article I wrote for one of the mags a few years back...

http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/reform11.htm

BTW - I don't agree one bit with the "a calorie is a calorie" philosophy.  While it is true that to get "ripped" there needs to be a caloric deficit, lowering calories is not the only way to create that deficit.

Macro nutrient configuration & type play a big role in body mass composition, recovery, hormone control, etc.  There are many great studies that prove this including some great ones which used monozygotic twins.

But forget the data and the studies.  What I value most is experience.  And, in my experience, having gotten in "diced" condition both on and off gear, I have found that portion, timing and macro-nutrient type/configuration ALL play a role in "burning" fat & staving muscle.

There are those lucky few out there who can get shredded on ice cream and pizza but they are the exception, not the rule.  TA, looking forward to seeing if you are one of those lucky few.  I expect to see fully separated quads & crisp lower lat insertions…all telltale signs of being truly diced….

The article was ok, but you have no reason to be concerned with the Sugars at all in ANY of those Ice Creams as they are all ULTRA LOW GI.

They will barely register a response so worrying about 3 grams of "sugar" is just plain stupid.

Even if it were regular Ice Cream, you would not have to worry much about sugar as it won`t have a negative effect either.

Perhaps a revision is necessary.

You cannot find a more nutritious food as well as one that won`t effect your blood sugar levels.  Nestles Carb Smart Ice cream has a GI index of only 7.  All Ice Creams are acceptable though.  Don`t waste your time with brown rice or oatmeal. They are worse for you and don`t provide as much nutrients at all.  Here is more information for you:  Enlighten yourselves:

Who eats 150 grams of protein in one sitting?

Not in one sitting. Just X it out of your diet completely for a day if you want to eat pizza,if you want to do it that way.

You think one day of missing your Monster over abundance of protein that is going to get wasted is going to have any effect on you?

You shouldn`t be eating that much protein anyway.

There are a lot of good brands at the grocery store, just check the nutrition labels.

When you go out for pizza, order it by the slice, that way you won't feel obligated to finish off an entire pizza.

Simple things. ;)

For anyones size.

It makes no difference if you get high protein. You don`t even need 1 gram per lb of bodyweight.

Just a load of bullshit packaged and sold to you people.  To this day there is no conclusive study that a High Protein diet has any beneficial effect in terms of muscle mass.  Nothing Conclusive at all.
