Hezbollah is a terrorist organisation, because:
1. It doesn't represent any country. It is autonomous.
The Lebanise army represents Lebanon.
2. It fires rockets at civilian areas.
3. It doesn't recognize Israel's right to exist.
4. It was resonsible for civil war with the christian North during the 90's.
5. It has no way of raising money itself, so it relies or state sponsorship.
There are more, but you wouldn't care anyway.
Joker, were you aware that there are on a grand total of 6 countries throughout the world that classify Hezbollah as a terrorist organization?
They are:
- UK
- USA
- Israel
- Canada
- Australia
- Netherlands
That's it. No one else classifies them as terrorists.
They operate only within their own borders
Their focus is in protecting lebanese sovereignty, and lebanese borders
They focus on the liberation of lebanese territories from foreign occupation
They provide social services and community infrastructure for lebanese
They tell terrorist organizations trying to align with them to go to hell
Based on how they operate, I'd have to say they look more & more like an armed militia to me.
