Who the F**k are any of us to tell Don what he should or shouldn't do with his body? Lord knows what some of these guys are doing in prep for the big show in a couple weeks. He's a grown man who knows his body better then any of us. He's not taking any diuretics, which as anyone who knows professional bodybuilding knows, this is where many guys have health issues the day of the show. Any doubts, ask the athlete's rep about pushing the envelope too far.
Hmmm... based on this logic, anyone can compete in the contests as long as they get a ‘doctor’ to sign a waiver. What if you knew he had a heart attack in the past? If that ok? Can you honestly tell me that his changes of getting injured, or something happening is the same as an athlete with functioning kidneys? Can you honestly tell me that you know all about every part of the training and the other function of his body parts to tell me that having no kidneys wont cause any factor? Have you talked with any other doctor who has heard of this and advised of this?
I like Don, he is a good guy, but someone needs to say what they think. The guy is getting another chance at life, why take a serious risk?
If something occurs to Don, anything at all, or later on, something happens, what then.... will we say it was ok because a doctor signed a waiver.
Would they let Don compete in any other sports, basketball, football, baseball, soccer, tennis?
