I have a few questions for you..........

I'm my opinion teams are willing to put up with high maintenance players when they are supremely talented. They are less likely to put up with high maintenance players that are mediocre. Also, teams will eventually run out of patience with the supremely talented players. They often reach the point where they are more of a pain in the ass then they are worth. NFL teams are in the business of winning games and making money. It is my opinion that they are fully within their right to look at a player and go "thanks, but no thanks". Guys that cause distractions are usually bad for business and they usually find themselves assed out eventually.

Maybe the league did collude to keep him out. However, until there is some hard evidence to support that I'm not going to just accept it as the truth as so many have done.
I find it much more likely that the simplest explanation is the correct one. He's just not good enough for teams to put up with his shit. It's a distraction for the teams and it creates bad press for the entire league.

I am talking the Constitution here. We have freedom of speech in our own private sphere (at home, mostly on social media) and in the public sphere (Amendment 1 to the Constiturion) but not as employees in the corporate sphere. So the NFL could certainly require their players to stand if they want them too. They just don’t seem to want to go that route (marketing and perceptions).
By the way, I don’t go for calling law enforcement officers “pigs”. That’s a complex and often thankless job. So even though I think of myself as more “liberal” than “conservative” and bristle at the Commander in Chief tweeting about this topic (that he has nothing to do with), I don’t think I will purchase any Nike products.

While they were signing superstars like Jordan to ten million dollar a year contracts they were paying their workers $2.30 a day under sweat shop conditions and blocking any attempts to unionize the workers. Their ad campaigns convincing poor black youth that they need $100 Nike's to make it to the big time. I remember a number of black kids were actually murdered for their Nike's, by other blacks.
Glad to see that Kaepernick will still retain his millionaire status, which in the end is really what it's all about.

Some might say it's unfair - how can blacks or latinos get an Ivy league education then? Well, that's simple. There's historically black and hispanic universities that will take anyone and give them paper degrees like the one Ronnie got from Grambling in accounting, for instance, without scrutinizing their grades at all. Not to mention, employers have compulsory racial surveys that applicants have to fill out, so those racial groups have nothing to worry about in terms of their colleges lacking the prestige to get them a decent job.
