that's a very insecure question. do you only care about what others think? is that why you work out?

What are respectable lifts for a natural?
Bench press-Twice your bodyweight for 6 reps
Military- bodyweight for 6 reps
squat - two and a half times your bodyweight for 6 reps
Deadlift.- two and a half times your bodyweight for 6 reps

i don't think this is realistic at all for a natural. If someone could do that it would be a lot more than "respectable", more like "omfg you are an animal"

(Body Weight, Bench, Squats & Deads)
140      280      350
150      300      375
160      320      400
170      340      425
180      360      450
190      380      475
200      400      500
210      420      525
220      440      550
230      460      575
240      480      600
250      500      625
260      520      650
270      540      675
280      560      700
290      580      725
300      600      750

Bench 305
            Military 180 for about 7
Squat 335 for 10 ( close to parallel, need to work on my form )
               Deadlift 405.  Really tough .
Yes this is very respectable/immpressive for a natty no matter weight - that other shyt 450-500lb benches is GREAT for a natty but the standard here on getbig ::)

Haha - very true - on Getbig people add about 30% to their "max lifts".  :)

Insecurity is the reason why everyone starts lifting.

there are no pros who can even bench twice their bodyweight for 6 reps.

other than that the other numbers seem achievable.

30% would be a very conservative estimate in my opinion.I am sure there are plenty of strong dudes here, but they are probably not the ones bragging about their lifts.I don't believe most of claims I read here.

I think if you can do 150 % of your body weight on the bench that is at least respectable.

Twice your weight for reps in the squat and dead isn't too bad either. I am not talking prwer lifters just your average guy.

Respectable is a relative term and your measures for respectable lifts apply to competitors not Joe Blows that casually lift and eat Hot Pockets and beer 6 times a week.

Not that there's anything wrong with Hot Pockets and beer.

Ok guys, with my recommendations I would say the Millitary Press is definetely doable.......I weight 190lbs TOTALLY natural, and I can go bodyweight for 3 reps.......I'm 23 so its no big feat to do bodyweight for 6 reps on a Millitary......And by no means am I a super strong guy.

With the bench press........It should be Bodyweight x 1.5 for 6 reps.......I messed up and said x2........But by no means is bodyweight x 1.5 for 6 reps a super big bench........But I guarantee if you can bench your bodyweight times one and a half for 6 reps and you are natural, you will be one respectable MOFO in the gym. An example for me is 285 for 6 reps...........thats doable right guys???

For the bench and dead, there is no reason you shouldnt be able to do 2.5 x's your bodyweight for six.......For me (190 lbs) that would be a 475lbs bench and dead..........which is no very much at all.....your dead should definetely be there, and your squat should follow soon after!........I have a 405lbs deadlift for 3.......so I'm almost there.......so its not a big deal guys........

What I was saying is, if you can hit these numbers you will definetely be one of the bigger guys in the gym..........and when anyone ask you how much do u bench, u can say your numbers with no fear. !!!!

I'm 23, natural as fuck, with 14% bodyfat, and I am almost hitting these numbers.......These are definetely BIG numbers, but they are definetely doable as well.......

ok, your clueless.... if you dead 405 for three... your NO WHERE near pulling 475 for six... sorry.... and i notice how you dont mention your squat... squating 475 for six is insane, for anyone.... maybe you train a average joes somewhere in nowhereland... but i train at a top 10 gym in the nation, with plenty of pro BB's and powerlifters who train there on thr reg.... i can count on one hand the number of times ive seen guys squating 500lbs for reps, let alone 6 reps.... plus those guys had to be close to 260

sorry, but your full of shit

your problem is you think that 1 rep is "really close to 6) and that 150% of your bodyweight is nearly the same as 200%... or the same as 250%.. ahah

i want the video that shows YOU, a 190lb guy squat 475 for 6...

ok every varies but lets say for a 32 yr old man average height and average proportions (i think you are asking in general) at 195lbs relatively lean

bench press 330lbs
squat 400lbs to parallel
dead 500lbs no wraps
military press- b/w strict.

this thread is pointless. is it all about ego? do you need others to tell you what is respectable? if you can't bench 330 you deserve no respect? people should measure themselves compared to their past progress
