With Oregon's QB out for the game and two rookies sharing the load BSU might not get blown out this weekend. I still don't want to see there defense vs. our Rookie QB, but hell what can you do. I am really scared to see what the RB does against us. That mother fucker can move.. I can't wait till SAT!
BSU's RB Ian Johnson is pretty good himself.

He is small and I worry about him against oregon's defense. I don't think he will get drafted. If he does i don;t think he will make the cut. He is a super nice guy though with a hot wife

Tennessee looks HORRIBLE once again. Seriously, when they lose this game, and lose 4-5 more this season, I hope the idiots on Rocky Top wakeup and clean    f%*king house with that coaching staff. I've been a UT fan since I was a kid, and this is one of the worst if not the worst team they have ever had. I would say after this game they can officially be called the fourth tier SEC team. Pathetic :-X

I must say..PAC 10 looks like stir fried shit, outside of USC...

In the SEC i thought that Tenn would do something but they suck too...
UGA beat a shitty Arizona state team and i expect them to loose to a monster BAMA team..
If USC BAMA and OU go undefeated...who is left out in the cold...

that's interesting because i was thinking the same thing only i had Florida running the table instead of Bama along with OU and USC, as crazy as it sounds and as GREAT a team as USC is they could be left out of the national title game due to the weakness of their schedule within the Pac-10, the only thing that could save them is destroying Ohio State like they did.

I think bama beats UF in the SEC champ...

Thats why there needs to be a playff system like every other regular sport...

well what i think is that they need to EITHER HAVE A CHAMPIONSHIP GAME FOR EVERY CONFERENCE OR DON'T HAVE ANY AT ALL, sick of this bullshit of the Big 12, SEC and Big East having a championship and the Pac-10 and Big 10 not having one, on the UF vs. Bama issue i don't think Bama has the experience to beat The Gators even if Bama was to get to the SEC champ. game, i still think it will be LSU vs. Florida.

I was watching "Top 5 Reasons you can't blame" on ESPN, and the subject was reasons you can't blame college football for not having a playoff. A couple of reasons surprised me. One was, some coaches didn't want one, because it would mean only one school has the chance to be the best. Where, if you kept the bowl system, as long as you win, you are at least a winner in that bowl game. Another was the money the bowls brought in and the coaches also didn't want to make the season longer. They also said, they couldn't see fans making travel arrangements and following the team on a week to week basis.  All those seemed weak to me. You would think they could still have a playoff, just cut one game from the regular season and leave the bowls in place, just as part of a playoff system. Teams could actually make a lot more money if their team is good enough. I really don't think it will ever happen, at least not as long as you have the 70 year old University Presidents and old school AD's stuck in decades of tradition.

Does anyone here follow the MWC?

If so, what is the concensus on kicking out TCU and SDSU, and Adding UNR, BSU and Fresno St.

Wouldn't that make a little more sense?

Mal, what do you think?

I think BSU needs to get out of the WAC we are good enough to play with a little bigger conf. I don't want pac-10 or anything, but cmon. We don't recruit, we re-load!

that could be a mistake in some of the bigger conference games, he's only a freshman, he's got great physical gifts and athleticism but has no experience, can't remember is OSU playing Penn State this year?

I agree get him ready in a year or two they may be ready to compete 4 championship again. It's pretty bad when people say your season is over after one loss, they will probably still go to the rose bowl.

maybe as far as the national championship is concerned but they could still win the Big 10 and get a big bowl.
