Dude go to a building site and grab some scrap wood.  Nail them across 2 base pieces slightly further apart than the thickness of your plates, and the base pieces as far apart as the diameter of your biggest plate.  Use base pieces thick enough to let the biggest plate sit at least 1/4 in to rack.



And paint that door.
