Something I've noticed about Romney is not only that he is a pathological liar but that when he's caught in a lie or even just a gaffe instead of admitting like a normal adult he doubles and triples down.   It's a weird and even a dangerous trait to have in anyone but especially someone who wants to be the leader of the most powerful nation on earth

btw - funny thing about Romney is he spent the Vietnam years riding around on France on a bicycle yet he never misses an opportunity to shit on France whenever he gets a chance

That's really bad but it's not going to matter to anyone voting for him.  From here to election day, the answer to Mitt being such a fucking lying douche is "but Obama"

I just can't fathom why anyone would vote for either Obama or Romney this election.

I've read that many Mormons find Romney's habitual practice of lying to be a real problem for them

Of course, mainstream Repubs actually see lying as a positive character trait

LOL.   Seriously?   See, I admit what romney is, and have done so from day one, as almost everyone voting for him.   Obama drones still cant give up their cultish worship of obama to at least admit he is a liar as well.

Yes, mittens is a liar, but like Hugo said - he is not obama and that will be good enough for 51-55% in november when he landslides the election.

LMFAO - see - that right there is exactly what i am talking about.   You are too swept up in the cult of personality to see it.

I admit romney is a ruthless liar yet the obama cultists still refuse to see reality.

I never said Obama was a saint

I said Romney has a proven record of making demonstrably false statements, getting called on them by the media and then doubling and tripling down

It's a bizzaro trait that is all the more bizarre when we're talking about simple and provably false statements (one example would be Romney statements about Solyndra)

find me a recent public statement by Obama that is provably false, pointed out to him by the media that he did not correct or clarify

Here's is one for Romney and instead of just saying he "mispoke" he doubles down

private sector is doing fine , where there is weakness is in the public sector.

Private sector UE higher than public sector UE.

Other than promising he'd put on a comfortable pair of shoes and march with the union bubbas?

Or, OKing a college biography, saying he was from Kenya, when he's really born in Hawaii?

cant' you ever pay attention

I gave you a simple task - find me a recent public statement by Obama that is provably false, pointed out to him by the media that he did not correct or clarify

Obama clarified that comment 4 hours after he made it

the entire point I've been making is that Romney never admits a lie or even a gaffe

He didnt correct it - he doubled down on it later in the day.

He didnt correct it - he doubled down on it later in the day.

are you serious?

this is why it's worthless to try to have a dialogue with you

here's what Obama said 4 hours later:

Quote
After a short meeting with the president of the Philippines Benigno Aquino, President Obama corrected a mistaken statement he had made last Friday when he said that “the private sector is doing fine.”

During Obama’s brief appearance while the cameras were rolling he restated his position, saying:

“It is absolutely clear the economy is not doing fine.

Then the president continued,

“That’s the reason I had a press conference. That’s why I spent yesterday, the day before yesterday, this past week, this past month and this past year talking about how we can make the economy stronger. The economy is not doing fine. There are too many people out of work. The housing market is still weak, too many homes underwater and that’s precisely why I asked Congress to start taking some steps that can make a difference.”

The emphatic correction came in response to the Republican criticism of Obama’s Friday statement. Republicans stated that the fact that Obama could say that the private sector is doing fine is proof that the president is not in touch with reality.

Or

Lying about when the CIC has the authority to use force.

That the Freedom of Choice Act would be his first act as president.

Closing Gitmo.

Posting bills online to give the public the right to review and comment before signing them.

Having CSPAN cover all of the healthcare debate.

Not employing lobbyists.

Transparency.

Lying about "the wealthy" not paying their fair share of income taxes.

The stimulus would keep unemployment below 8 percent.

"Shovel ready was quite as shovel ready" as we thought.

Not raising taxes on anyone making less than $250k a year.

Lying about his support for traditional marriage.

And that's just off the top of my head.  :)

Then, there's the pay your fair share stuff (meanwhile, he takes every exemption he can with HIS tax returns, even though he "doesn't need it").

And, putting all the bills online 72 hours before voting on them, so people could read them and decide if they liked them or not.

Plus, there's the "war on women" and equal pay stuff (meanwhile, the Dems in DC pay their women 18% less than their male counterparts, doing the same job).

But, but, but, Obama was supposed to be a different type of politician. He was supposed to be above all this. And, of course, TK members (including you) bought it: hook, line, and sinker.

As usual, your kneepadding gets exposed and you try to dodge that fact that you bought the Obama "Hope-and-Change" routine. You thought he was going to be different than everyone else.
