This was about a week ago but forgot to post, had opportunity to work with flagstones from the mid 1700s, removed from small courtyard and replaced with Indian stone (customers choice, despite the semi randomised sizing it was too uniform to blend in with the property but not much choice out there to be fair) removed lawn in another area of property and relaid the original flagstones, these averaged 4 inches thick and one was 8” on one corner we must be pussies compared to blokes from back then who laid these all day haha only had a set amount so abandoned trying to mix up towards the end not one the same size so can’t stick to any sort of pattern but was reasonably pleased with result
