For starters, not restricting a certain macronutrient/food group and blindly following the crowd. Everybody is looking for a panacea that doesn’t exist, and the opportunists like Arnold are licking their chops.
Two things here. First of all, that's not really a definition of balanced. To have balance, you have to restrict somewhere. If you mean not
completely excluding, then that was the point of my question. What is your definition of the proper mix? What constitutes balance?
Secondly, why is experimenting with something that may be beneficial to you ==blindly following the crowd? Think about when you lift- you read about things that sound new or innovative, test them out, see what works and incorporate the useful stuff into your future workouts. We are a curious species and we're always looking for an edge. Why is experimenting with eating regimens a character flaw?
