CRT is horrible in grade schools, high schools.

Though anyone with even 1/2 a brain knows it doesn't belong (except for maybe college courses that are signed up for).
I like the guys here (Straw and Lurker) just curious if you guys have young kids?
If so, do you want them being taught that they are inherently racist just from their skin color? I'd say that's pretty racist thinking right there.

People are pushing back against this and more states are banning it (our state just did).

Stick to math (which is also racist I guess) reading and writing. Dont try to raise kids a certain way.
Don't hand out BLM pins, Pride pins, etc. in schools. If so, then "White Power" pins would also be OK, otherwise the school is being racist.

20+ years ago, I was very active in the Libertarian Party.
I had major problem with them on issues like pollution laws.

They felt you could just sue if someone polluted.
I felt that wasn't practical because , the land , air or water was already polluted.
It's like saying ,don't have laws against murder and just have wrongful death  suits.

President Carter's administration created the Dept. of Education.  It's purpose was to produce better outcomes in public education.  It has failed but it still exists and has only grown in size.

His admin also created the Dept. of Energy in response to the oil embargo to make us energy secure.  Since its creation we didn't become a net energy exporter until the Trump admin, but now we are back to being a net energy importer, thanks to Biden-Harris' policies.

Pre-K was conceived to produce better educational outcomes.  It failed - acknowledge that - but the Left have backed-in other rationales for it.  28.6% more teachers with no improvement in education - progressives are over kvelling at the idea.  They should rename it daycare and defend it as such - but they won't.

The shut down of our economy and what was deemed “essential” businesses and non-essential businesses. The total Government take over that infringed on our civil rights. Being ordered to stay in or face consequences. Fuck, one guy who was out in the water BY HIMSELF being tracked down by the Coast Guard.
